Of the seven studies reporting attitudes of physicians towards exercise for KOA five used physician-completed questionnaires , one used patient interviews and the other physician interviews . Behaviours are the ways in which one acts or conducts oneself . Behaviours can result from attitudes and beliefs but may not truly indicate these. Behaviours can be reported or observed. Physician self-reported clinical management constitutes “reported behaviour”. Data on “actual behaviour” refers to that which has either been collected through direct observation, patient report or from case-note or medical record review.
