Following trauma to any part of our bodies, it is very natural to bleed. When the bleeding occurs into the skin, we develop what is referred to as a hematoma, a collection of blood in the soft tissue. Nonsurgical Treatment Options For Mcl Tears Or Sprains

Most everyone who has an MCL injury will be advised by a health care professional to follow the RICE method:

  • Rest. Activities that irritates the knee, such as pivoting and walking for long periods of time, should be avoided until the symptoms get better.
