How It Works: Biomimicry
PULSING Instead of using static compression to transport fluid out of the limbs, NormaTec Pulse Technology uses dynamic compression . The patented pulsing action more effectively mimics the muscle pump of the legs and arms, greatly enhancing the movement of fluid and metabolites out of the limbs after an intense workout.
GRADIENTS Veins and lymphatic vessels have one-way valves that prevent fluid backflow. Similarly, NormaTec Pulse Technology uses hold pressures to keep fluids from being forced in the wrong direction. Because of this enhancement, instead of tapering pressure off, it can deliver maximum pressure in every zone.
DISTAL RELEASE Because extended static pressure can be detrimental to the bodys normal circulatory flow, Sequential Pulse Technology releases the hold pressures once they are no longer needed to prevent backflow. By releasing the hold pressure in each zone as soon as possible, each portion of the limb gains maximal rest time without a significant pause between compression cycles.
Ankle And Knee Sprains
Sprains occur when a sudden twist, stretch, or blow to the body forces a joint out of its normal position, stretching and tearing the tough, fibrous ligaments that connect your bones. All it takes is a foot going out from under you as you slide for home or even just a bad step. The result? Swelling and pain.
At Active Health, our goal is to help you get back to full functionality fast! Many chiropractors and physical therapist take weeks and weeks of expensive visits for treatment. Many of our patients report seeing a 50% improvement after just one visit and an 80% improvement within 3-4 visits.

Acupuncture works in many ways depending on the treatment goal and technique application. This ranges from western knowledge of the body to using traditional meridian theories that have been around for thousands of years. The goal is always to achieve the desired result with the lowest number of needles.
Active Release Technique® is NOT the same as massage therapy. It is a movement-based massage technique in which damaged tissues are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements. A.R.T. breaks down the scar tissue that forms when a tissue is injured or overused.

What Our Patients Say
A Story From One of Our Patients
After just one month of going through all the therapies and dieting, I can feel my toes again. There is no tingling! I can sleep and night without discomfort. I even lost four pounds! I am very happy with my experience and treatment and I tell everyone I work with who are having the same issues to call Dr. Davis D.C.!
Ligament & Tendon Tear
When we injure our ligaments or tendons they do not heal as well as other things in our body. This is because the blood flow to them is less which results in slower healing time. Depending on the person, many of these injuries never completely heal. With the aid of your own blood, your body is stimulated to heal, and you can get out of pain forever. Dr. Josh Mason, and Dr. Zach Mason highly recommend these therapies to many of their patients of all ages!
